This was really great to read Christy. In my early 60s and tho I never lost faith in Jesus, I’ve struggled with church. I have found that most people my age have just settled in and accept all they have learned, not interested in digging in. I still want to learn, want to have option to unlearn and continue growing. Thanks for your work on this and being so open.

You are so welcome! And I totally hear you on people being content. It’s hard to feel alone. 😢 I’m glad you are here!

My condolences to your family on your loss.

This is a great message. I totally get the switch from skirts only to pants. It seems crazy that the first 20 years of my life as a Christian and when we were building a family were spent in this manipulative cult church. Thankfully my faith survived intact. But I continue to struggle with God over my daughter's addiction. I've always said of my kids, I rather see them struggle than have them just warm pews and never really know.
