This month lets question what is happening with Gen Z and Jesus, explore the gospels through a middle eastern lens, and ponder what it looks like to seek faithfulness over fame.
This insight is 🔥, I am also called to work with Gen Z although not actually doing that ministry yet, at the moment. God is really doing a new thing, I believe it, I’m here for it.
And I have long thought that the physical, geographical positioning of the birth of Jesus is one of the things that most makes me believe that of course this was meant to become a universal story— if I were a space alien looking at a Earth map for the first time and asked to put my finger on the best place for the savior of the world to be born— I think I would pick somewhere right around where it actually happened! Also it wasn’t on any continent that later would become known for an extreme thirst for domination.

God is good and Christianity isn’t European.
Or American.
